Get Your Halloween Costume Ready for Chicago’s Haunted Halsted on Oct. 31!

According to Fodor’s Travel, there are 10 Halloween parties in the nation that outshine all the rest. Haunted Halsted is one of them. Every Halloween, parade participants don over-the-top costumes and swarm Halsted Street from Belmont to Brompton, waving, dancing, and playing music as they go.

The parade will kick off promptly at 7:30 p.m. on the evening of October 31st, but it’s actually the culmination of a few days of events. It all begins with the Lakeview Halloween Pup Crawl and trick-or-treating on October 26th. The on the 27th, the Zombie Brunch draws revelers out of bed, and it leads right into the Sundead Fundead Zombie Bar Crawl.
