With the holiday season comes wonderful celebrations surrounded by friends, family and food but, at The Sinclair, it’s also a great time to give back to our local Chicago community. Get into the season’s spirit of giving by donating to one of these local Chicago causes this month.
Bridge to Success
This local nonprofit serves at-risk men, women and young adults in the greater Chicago area by providing them with high end professional clothing and the interview skills needed to gain employment. You can donate your time, money or gently used clothing to Bridge for Success. For more information on the items Bridge to Success is looking for and volunteer information click here. Bridge to Success is an 18 minute drive from The Sinclair.
Cradles to Crayons
Cradles to Crayons works to provide clothing and other essentials to children living in poverty. There are a plethora of ways to donate your time and resources to partner with Cradles to Crayons in their mission. Read more about how you can get involved here. Cradles to Crayons is a 23 minute drive from The Sinclair.
Sarah’s Circle
Sarah’s Circle provides interim housing for homeless and at-risk women. They also provide clinical and social services, case management and other necessities to these women. You can donate in order to help provide these services here. Sarah’s Circle is an 11 minute drive from The Sinclair.
World Bicycle Relief
Chicago-based World Bicycle Relief is helping to mobilize people in developing countries by giving the gift of rugged bicycles. You can donate monetarily online here. World Bicycle Relief is a 17 minute drive from The Sinclair.
